Gossip/News Thomas Heneghan had a novel birthday party this year in the form of a mini squash tournament. The two teams (the Donkeys and the Goonies) had a close and hard-fought match and it ended with a narrow (12-10) victory to the Donkeys. Evesham didn't do very well this year in the county leagues. What with the departure of a couple of players, the poor condition of the court floors, the lack of access to the gallery, and the poor changing room conditions, we had difficulty in fielding teams. It should be a different story this year! We have had a few of our members play for the county: - Brett Green |
Court Maintenance Thanks to Steve P, Paul H, Bob S and others for repairing holes, sanding floors, clearing galleries etc. Paul H and Steve P are going to give a light sand to the floors when all the other building work is complete - hopefully this will restore the grip. Court heaters are on the way, and should be installed before the end of the month - just in time for the cold spell. Outstanding: |
