Errol has now organised several fixtures for the Juniors. In the absence of a County Girls team, our young ladies took part in a three county match, beating both Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire to win the event. Numbers continue to increase, and Errol will shortly be organising a mid-week late afternoon junior training session.

Jonathan Bomford has arranged a friendly match against the Jesters, provisionally fixed for 31 January.

Social & Administrative Some 40 people attended our Christmas curry night at Maheens, with the plucky few moving on to Marilyns. Because of the early start, the Section AGM had to be postponed, and we shall be arranging a new date shortly

Squash Courts We have received an unhelpful response from Watson Brook, and, with Catherine Arkell's advice, have drafted a response. I suspect that we are now getting close to taking legal action. The defective light fittings have now been replaced by the suppliers. However, in the process of installing the new fittings, Pete Scully has experienced difficulties with the connections to the power supply.
