The entry fee is £3.00. Please pay this to one of the organisers (Paul
Heneghan, Errol Ferris or Richard Avery) and make sure your name gets ticked off on the
list.
-
Please get in touch with your opponent to check whether he or she can
play at the scheduled time. If there is a problem with the scheduled time,
please get in touch with the organisers ASAP. It may be possible to
reschedule your match, providing it does not hold up the tournament.
-
This competition relies on players (particularly team players) making
themselves available to mark other matches. Please try to stay on after your
matches to mark the next game.
-
All matches will be the best of five games, English scoring (up to
9).
-
Remember there is a plate competition for first-round losers (men's event
only). This means you are guaranteed a minimum of two games. The plate may
not be open to the seeded players as this might hold up the tournament.
-
Please come along and support as many of the matches as you can -
particularly the finals the last Sunday evening. After the finals, in
the evening, there will be prize giving and nibbles.
-
Visit the squash section website.
I will try to update this website every evening, so you can check on
peoples' progress through the tournament. It would be great to have some
write ups for the matches. If anyone feels inspired, please email me your
efforts. Libellous commentaries in particular would be appreciated! The
squash content also doesn’t have to be particularly high - anything in the
public interest is OK.
-
Please phone me (Paul Heneghan, 871565) or email
me (paul@heneghan.co.uk) if you have any queries.
